Reliable resource, keeps getting better

This is my third year using Motorskilllearning. I started with the Kindergarten PE Curriculum, then upgraded to the Yearly Membership. This year, I also got the Early Childhood PE Educator Training. They consistently provide high-quality materials. The lesson plans are always practical and the new training modules are a great addition. I keep coming back because their stuff actually works in the classroom and saves me so much prep time. It's nice to have a reliable source for my PE lessons.

Great value for a first timer

As a new teacher, I was looking for something affordable but effective. I bought the Fundamental Movement Skills Program. The price was really good, especially compared to others I looked at. The activities are solid and I feel like I got a lot for my money. Worth the purchase.

Comprehensive and easy to use

I signed up for the Yearly Membership in August to get access to everything. The ordering process was smooth, just a few clicks. I got immediate access to all the lesson plans and resources, including the Equipment-Free PE Games which have been a lifesaver for indoor days. The curriculum is clearly aligned with educational standards and provides adaptable options for different class sizes. I had a small question about accessing some of the assessment tools, and customer support responded to my email within a day with clear instructions. The materials are mostly digital, easy to download, and print. It's a robust resource that saves me a lot of planning time.

Good content, delivery could be faster

I purchased the Kindergarten PE Curriculum last month. The content itself is very well-structured and easy to follow for my class. Delivery of the digital materials was quick, which was great. However, I also ordered a printed guide and that took nearly two weeks to arrive, which felt a bit slow. Overall, a solid product for the price, but they could improve on shipping physical items.

So helpful for my class!

I got the Pre-K to 1st Grade PE Curriculum and it's fantastic! The activities are so engaging for the kids and really well thought out. My students are loving the new games. I'm definitely subscribing for the yearly membership next term!

How does Motorskilllearning stack up against something like SPARK PE or OPEN PhysEd? I've used those before but thinking about trying something new.

R Rosa 1 month ago
Motorskilllearning is definitely more focused on the younger kids, like Pre-K to 1st. SPARK and OPEN have wider age ranges, but for early ed, MSL is really strong on foundational skills.

I found Motorskilllearning better for my K-1 classes specifically. The lesson plans are super detailed for that age, and the activities are really age-appropriate. SPARK is good, but sometimes it felt a bit generic for the little ones.

Anyone know if Motorskilllearning offers anything for homeschool families? I'm trying to find good PE stuff for my kids.

L Laura Marsh 2 months ago
I think they do! I saw something about a homeschool educator code somewhere. Might be worth checking their site or just asking support.

Yep, there's usually a homeschool discount. It's not always super obvious, but if you look around their coupon/promo section, you should find it. I used one last year.

I'm thinking of getting their coach certification. Do they ever have sales on those, like a Black Friday deal or something?

T Todd Lindqvist 2 months ago
They do sometimes! I think I saw a Black Friday sale last year for certifications. Keep an eye out around November, or check their deals page.

Yep, definitely. They usually have seasonal promos and certification bundle deals. Black Friday is a good bet, also sometimes around back-to-school or start of the new year.

Can I get a discount if my whole school district signs up for Motorskilllearning? Or is it just individual teachers?

R Rosa Beaumont 1 month ago
Yeah, they do school district licensing. You'd probably have to contact them directly for that though, it's not usually just a coupon code you can input.

My district looked into it last year and they definitely have bulk pricing for schools. It's usually a custom quote based on how many teachers need access.

Are their lesson plans just for like, big gyms? My school has pretty limited space for PE, especially indoors.

R Rosa 2 months ago
Nah, they totally have plans for limited space and even equipment-free stuff. I've used a bunch of their indoor activities that don't need much room at all.

They actually have a whole section on that! I was worried about the same thing, but you can filter for indoor PE lessons and ones that require minimal space or no equipment. It's pretty handy.
